Yes there are from the visitor's center to downtown
Or you can park using parkmobile app right by the station and pay for the parking. 😊 This is how I do.
You have to pay $15.00 to park and preferably take the blue bus into Harper's Ferry because where you get into the historic area there is minimal parking, look for Park entrance. Off of route 340 also known as the William Wilson Parkway.
It's less than 30 minutes drive to historical sites like Antietam Battlefield and natural wonders like the Crystal Grottoes stalactite cave. Not to mention hiking and River rafting/ tubing.
Only leashed dogs.
I'm not sure the shuttles are running. There is a website that shows what holidays they partake in.
No, just a cargo line that runs through it
The service was great. Our server Brendan was very attentive. They have appropriate precautions in place to make you feel safe from COVID. I had a crab cake sandwich that was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Harper's Ferry
WOW great safety measures have been taken @ The Hole...The Deck is super cool, lighting whimsy & fun to look at...The View is one of a kind. Then add FRESH lovingly prepared eats WOW great job Rabbit/hole
Came here for dinner after everything else was closed, had obnoxious drunks at the bar, or was BYOB. So thankful we did! It was lovely. We had the hummus platter and shrimp cocktail for apps. Both highly recommended. My husband had the fish and chips. It was huge, but really good. I had the special with scallops and pasta and deliciousness. So light and flavorful on a hot summer evening. We'd come back for sure. Oh. Great views from the deck!! Service was on point, too! After reading some other reviews, very impressed that they took time to regroup. It showed.
This place is amazing and extremely efficient during the reopening phase. We showed up on a busy Saturday full of tourists but quickly got a table outside and all our orders arrived very quickly as well. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I got a hummus plate with pita chips, cucumbers and bell peppers that was perfect for a summer day (it felt light even though it was a huge plate!). Their local beer is also pretty good. Absolutely recommend! Good job everyone!
The greeter wasn’t the friendliest, but the server was great and the food was too. They seemed to be taking good safety measures during the pandemic as the tables were all socially distanced from each other. The view from the patio of the mountains is beautiful and it’s nice seeing the train come in, but it can get hot depending if you’re seated directly in the sun. Nice serving sizes and they’re doing take out too if you prefer not to eat out. The fries were great! Great drink selection too. We went on a week day at dinner time and almost every table was full but thankfully didn’t have to wait.
90 degrees, outdoor only seating, sat in the only table in the sun rather than a shaded table because 2 people not 4.No food tastes good in the sun in 90 degrees weather. Can't go inside... but no straws and washed cups? Not recommended for people with Crohn's.Burger was good, fresh ingredients. Pulled pork had an especially good, smokey BBQ sauce.Beer battered fries were not impressive. Mostly soft, not crunchy. No seasoning. View from my seat needed some TLC. Ugly foreground doesn't match beautiful background.
I absolutely LOVE this place!!! My partner and I come to Harpers Ferry almost every two weeks and go to the Rabbit Hole after hiking. Our last trip there was in late Feb. Excellent food and the decor within this restaurant is so unique and fun. Excellent food! I strongly recommend the hummus plate and any of the soups they serve! In the 7 times I have been to the Rabbit Hole hole, I have always had a 5 star experience with both the food and the service. I am really looking forward to getting back there just as soon as it is possible.
What a wonderful experience! We ordered hummus and it was a beauty with a taste to match and plenty of fresh veggies accompanying the pita chips. Wings were juicy and super tasty with a side of veggies as well and the steak and cheese sandwich ( which has a different name, though) was delish. What impressed me the most was the cleanlinessof the establishment and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. All young people working together to make sure customers are satisfied. We were and I'm pretty sure everybody will be.
This place has some delicious food! We had the burger and fries. So good! Service was excellent too.
Great experience considering the circumstances. They were super friendly, the food was pretty tasty and they had a good system in place for keeping distance and make you feel safe. The terrace has a nice view of the old station and the restaurant is in the heart of downtown.
Can't say this place blew me away. The waitstaff was nice and they were doing everything to keep things clean. I even needed a bathroom pass to use the bathroom. But the food wasn't fantastic. I got the oyster po-boy, 4 little frozen oysters. It tasted like straight fish which is a good indicator or the frozen comment. The roll wasn't bad and it was covered in spring lettuce and tomato. I tried the crab cake that one of the other girls got. I can't say I would try that again. Not a crab chunk to be had and not a ton of taste. I might try it again if the menu has more to offer, but this visit it was very limited.
Great food. Great servers. Love the atmosphere of park signs on the walls and the warm wood paneling. The water spring gives it a rustic look. The dining room and bathrooms were clean.
Brendan and Kate were awesome!! Thanks for a really good experience guys. The craft beer selection was wonderful and they had some good snacks / safe and clean social distancing procedures. Walter (the dog) loved it.
If you find yourself in Harpers Ferry, do yourself a favor and swing by the Rabbit Hole. Tucked away under some stores, the place a such a warm and homey feeling. The walls are covered in hiking decor, has gas fire place, and plenty of outdoor space to eat and enjoy Maryland heights across the river. If it’s in season, absolutely get the mulled wine. The fish to the fish and chips was crispy and delicious, not over cooked. The crab cakes are absolutely amazing. Unlike most crab cakes that are heavy on bread crumbs and such, these crab cakes are just about all crab meat. After a long hike on the trail or a long walk around town, have a warm mulled wine, some soup, and epic food here.
Had a great experience here for dinner. Excellent mushroom sandwich and fries and good beer recommendations from our server. Sat on the patio and was able to see deer eating from our table. Cool, unique place for sure.
I love this Restaurant! Food is so delicious and their trail tea is amazing! Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Staff is friendly and fast. Such great ambience! You need to eat here.
